Job Description:

Assists with the completion of logistics tasks, to include but not limited to purchase card management.

Assists with the tasks that support supplier audits, assessments and evaluations to ensure conformance to clients quality, cost and delivery performance standards.

Assists with the tasks that support demand forecasting, distribution planning, supply chain modeling and design.

Assists with resolving supplier quality issues and provides appropriate support for desired supplier capability.

Assists with the task that support process improvements, inventory reductions, and cost savings.

Assists with the writing or editing of logistics policies and procedures.Additional requirements: The Warehouse/Supply Technician will support warehouse and supply operations and be proficient in current Logiquest, LES Ashore Applications, Corrective Maintenance System (CLMS), and Microsoft Programs, such as Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Purchase Card holder/expenditure and monthly reconciliation.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: An Associate's Degree in Logistics plus three years with Warehouse Operations, Supply Management and Hazmat or ten years of documented experience with Warehouse Operations, Supply Management and Hazmat. Must have experience training in a military and civilian mariner environment We are GDIT.
