The Key Account Manager, Neuroscience responsibilities and skills will require: Clinical/Marketplace Expertise Delivers marketplace insights and serves as a strategic advisor for the Janssen coalition team Operates as an expert in behavioral health both clinically and within geographical market environments. Maintains a deep understanding of customer needs, ecosystem operations, patient flow, access and reimbursement within assigned geography Provides clinical and marketplace expertise for the Janssen Neuroscience portfolio Identifies and develops strategies to address barriers to access Business Plan/Marketplace Development Applies quantitative and qualitative assessments, develops insights that informs strategic plans to capitalize on local market opportunities Ensures strategic alignment to both short and long-term customer business objectives and aligns internal resources to address stakeholder needs Educates on the requirements needed to support the Janssen Neuroscience portfolio Collaborates on plan development, aligns on responsibilities and holds local coalition team accountable for plan execution. The KAM should possess strong analytical and strategic thinking competencies and will be required to assess customer needs and bring knowledge and insights back to field and internal leadership to inform local sales and marketing strategies Serves as a catalyst to align organizational readiness for emerging opportunities across the mental health landscape Customer Engagement Identifies, engages in, and develops relationships with key individual stakeholders who influence care within behavioral health marketplace and systems Serves as a strategic behavioral health business partner with customers using clinical expertise and account management capabilities to support current and future therapeutic portfolio of products Informs and empowers provider systems to identify and implement initiatives that deliver optimal care transitions Delivers education on market access and operational requirements to support patient access Delivers and ensures understanding of the appropriate Value Proposition in Provider/Payer Accounts Collaboration/Partnering Collaborates, partners, and leads action planning with internal stakeholders including field, home office, neuroscience, and other functions to meet/execute brand marketing strategies, manage pullthrough, and appropriately leverage company resources Leads without authority within cross functional teams Communicates and aligns with internal partners on key areas of need and focus Other Balances short term opportunities with longer term market and customer development Consistently adheres to all company compliance guidelines and updates Qualifications Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor Degree is required, an MBA is preferred. A valid driver's license issued in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States is required. A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Healthcare is required. A minimum of four (4) years of experience in large account management and development role is required. Two (2) years of experience in the CNS therapeutic area and multiple sclerosis is preferred. Possess and maintain an understanding of key influencers in healthcare and demonstrate ability to communicate market trends related to the impact on the customer landscape beyond just the Neuroscience promoted therapeutic areas. Experience and a deep understanding of the reimbursement landscape for pharmaceuticals and/or devices with sophisticated delivery systems, including pharmaceutical benefit and medical benefit (buy and bill) reimbursement. Ability to maintain a high level of clinical knowledge on schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, depression, TRD and other therapeutic areas in the behavioral healthcare environment. Ability to analyze marketplaces and develop strategic marketplace insights. Collaborate, lead, and influence a cross functional team. Ability to deal with ambiguity. The ability to travel, which may include overnight / weekend travel, up to 25% of the time, is required. Must live in the geography and/or be willing to relocate to the geography.
