Job Description:

Responsibilities: Operate a variety of cranes and forklifts of different capacities throughout the shipyard. Handle and maneuver ship components of all sizes, including pipes, valves, pumps, motors, electronic equipment, and structural machinery. Safely calculate weight, center of gravity, lift point capacities, and handling gear angles to ensure proper lifting procedures. Operate shipyard tug boats to move, moor, and berth vessels safely between dry docks and piers. Erect, maintain, and dismantle scaffolding to provide safe working platforms in shipbuilding areas. Purchase, maintain, and issue tools and equipment used in shipbuilding operations. Install and maintain onboard ventilation systems to prevent hazardous atmospheres. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and shipyard procedures at all times. Qualifications: 3 yrs Proven experience in rigging, crane operation, and heavy equipment handling. Strong understanding of mechanical, structural, and maritime components. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and load calculations. Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
