respond to this flyerDON Pathways Internship Program Duties--- You
will serve as an Engineering Technician in the Engineering
Department (Code 200) in Norfolk Ship Support Activity (NSSA) in
Norfolk, Virginia.--- You will assist with providing routine
technical assistance in the resolution of casualties and
malfunctions in the components of shipboard systems.--- You will
research technical reports, design documentation, historical files
regarding the components, and compile data for use by senior
engineering techniciansRequirements Conditions of Employment---
Must be a US Citizen.--- Must be determined suitable for federal
employment.--- Must participate in the direct deposit pay
program.--- New employees to the Department of the Navy will be

months of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-3 level
or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the
private or public sectorGeneral and specialized experience must
demonstrate the following: *Experience assisting with and/or
preparing drawings, material specifications, test procedures,
technical work instructions, and other documents pertaining to the
assigned project with technical adequacy and in compliance with
specifications and quality requirements.
*Experience assisting higher-level engineers and technicians in
developing modernization packages to install new systems and
components on naval combatant ships.
*Experience applying engineering concepts and principles,
initiative, resourcefulness, verbal/written communication skills,
computer skills, and a sound technical knowledge of engineering
