WHO we're looking for:Sngular is looking for a Senior DevOps engineer to work on transformational projects for a global institution located in US (Virginia). In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of DevOps toolchain for complex engineering applications and youll be required to be a subject matter expert on devOps best practices.We are seeking an experienced Engineering Senior to join our cloud platform services team. They will be joining a diverse cross-functional team to collaborate on building the service platform(in AWS) to enable the client applications team to host/migrate business applications. The candidate is expected to be proficient in the usage and deployment of container technology and tooling at an enterprise scale. The candidate should be able to learn/adapt new tools/technologies and implement them for enterprise adoption in accordance with the client operational and security standardsWHAT you'll bring:

• Automate implementation of the service platform components in accordance with CI/CD standar.
• Participate in design reviews of architecture patterns for service/application deployment in Cloud (AWS).
• Deliver and maintain standard operating procedures and assist troubleshooting issues.
• Setting up and maintaining Jenkins environment in large scale.
• Produce automation scripts to integrate between services and increase efficiency
• Business communication - engage with internal teams, project teams and business areas to discuss issues and document or explain technical solutions in a simplified meaningful way.
• Collaborate on projects with architecture, strategy and Information security team's to on-board cloud service platform (application patterns).
• Participate in design reviews of architecture patterns for service/application deployment in Cloud (AWS).
• Collaborate with platform pillar (Database, middleware etc) leads to build-out the components for Service Platform.
• Participate in on-call activities as needed for major incident resolution and problem management.WHAT requirements we're looking for:
  • 4 years of experience in AWS or other public cloud infrastructure and platform delivery.
  • 3 years of experience with engineering and supporting containerization technology (Openshift, Kubernetes, AWS - ECS, EKS-) at scale.
  • 6 years of experience in information technology, preference for infrastructure and platform services automation.
  • Strong knowledge of foundational elements of private(SDDC) and/or public cloud(AWS).
  • Experience with scripting tools (Python, perl, Shell scripting etc) to automate routine operation tasks.
  • Design and deployment of platforms over public Cloud (AWS)
  • Infrastructure Configuration Management with Ansible, Puppet and/or Chef
  • Experience deploying infrastructure with any container orchestration platforms: Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, AWS Container Service (ECS)
  • Knowledge of Linux scripting (bash, perl, python, ---)
  • Experience in CI/CD environment with Jenkins
  • Documentation of Engineering Solutions and Designs.
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience
