Contract To Hire Contract Pay Rate: $80,000 - $85,000Permanent Hire
Salary: $85,000 - $90,000Location:--VA Beach, VA Mandatory Needs:
-Secret Clearance (Obtain and Maintain)-Sec+CE -HBSS
Administrator/Engineer Experience-Comfortable with getting a CCNA
within 1 year of startingNice to Have:-Vmware Knowledge-Networking
knowledge-STIG experienceJob Description: Day to day:Working with
engineering group, needs some network savvy skills... eventually
will need a CCNAWorking with the network team having network
configuring, maintaining, installing network devices, Cisco product
experience and protocol experience. Windows hyper-v environment,
req calls for EIGRP, BGP etc., HBSS IPS system experience would be
great. Applying STIGS to devicesTask Description- Provides support
for network connectivity or related network issues for the
command.- Assists with plans for the installation of network
systems.- Monitors network activity and identifies network problems
to discover and prevent systematic errors. Recommends network
design changes/enhancements for improved systems availability and
performance.- Troubleshoots diagnoses and resolves network
problems. Escalates problems beyond his/her capability to rectify
any network deficiencies or to enhance network performance.-
Analyzes facilities bandwidth requirements and system
interdependencies. Develops capacity planning models.- Assesses
network performance to ensure that it meets the present and future
needs of the command. - Uses enterprise system monitoring and
management tools such as Cisco PRIME Infrastructure, What's Up
Gold, Wireshark, Websense and NMAP.- Uses commercial
enterprise-level tools and products to provide network services,
including: firewalls, IPS/IDS, DNS, DHCP, web security, TACACS+,
ACS, VPN and NAC.
