Job Description:

Planning, teaching, and assessing in a grade 3 classroom for all subject areas.Under direction of the school principal, plan and provide for appropriate learning experiences for students. Provide an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of individuals to ensure success for every student. Supervise students in a variety of school related settings. Monitor and evaluate student outcomes. Communicate and interact with students, parents, staff and community. Develop, select and modify instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students. Maintain appropriate records and follows required procedures and practices. Monitor appropriate use and care of equipment, materials and facilities.

Salary Range: From/ToSubstitute Long Term Rate ($205/per day)

To be eligible for the Long Term rate, qualified candidates must be licensed to teach or be eligible for a provisional teaching license.

After substituting for 20 consecutive days in this position, the long term rate will apply upon the 21st day of substituting. For the first 20 days daily sub rates apply and once the 21st day is reached the difference between the daily rate and the long term rate will be paid as back pay in the next check for that pay period.The substitute candidate selected for this position will only receive the long-term rate of pay if eligible for this rate (see above).No Benefits.
