We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for commercial construction projects, ensuring the timely and cost-effective completion of each project. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for air barrier, spray foam insulation, and waterproofing systems for commercial projects. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documentation to assess materials, labor, and time requirements. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary data for accurate bids. Ensure estimates reflect the scope of work, product selections, and overall project requirements. Perform takeoffs and provide labor, material, and overhead costs for bids. Assist in the negotiation process with clients, contractors, and suppliers. Track and manage bid schedules to ensure timely submission. Participate in pre-construction meetings and project reviews as necessary. Keep up to date with industry trends, materials, and technologies related to air barrier, spray foam, and waterproofing systems. Qualifications: Proven experience as an estimator in the commercial construction industry, specifically with air barriers, spray foam insulation, and waterproofing. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques, particularly related to air barrier and insulation systems. Proficient in estimating software and tools (e.g., Planswift, Bluebeam, Excel). Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate and thorough estimates. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
