Job Description Job Description Salary: Overview: RA Holdings is
looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project
Managers and Field Operations personnel and facilitates quality
coordination and integration between them. Responsibilities include
preparing preconstruction submittals, schedule of values, monthly
invoicing, managing change orders, coordinating site/project
access, customer coordination and communication. Job
Responsibilities: Uphold a high level of professionalism and carry
out a policy of courtesy and superior customer service. Gain and
maintain a thorough understanding of commercial construction
industry practices and standards. Participate in the coordination
and communication with customers and trade partners. Be the link
between the project management team and the field operations team
to achieve project goals. Assist in creating and managing key
project documents including submittals and RFIs. Price, submit,
negotiate, and follow through on change orders in a timely manner
and update the change order log. Assist in the preparation of daily
logs and reports of construction activity as needed. Has clear
understanding of specifications, drawings, standards, and scopes of
work. Assist project management staff in project billings. Analyze
project drawings, perform takeoffs, and procure materials if
needed. Support Field Operations staff by organizing project
schedules and project books, including toolbox talks. Attend
required meetings and conferences on behalf of Retro. Document and
act on items in RA Holdings interests Build quality relationships
with customer staff personnel to facilitate project delivery.
Accomplish construction human resource objectives by assisting with
onboarding of field employees when needed, being knowledgeable of
company policies and procedures in order to keep the workforce
informed. Complete professional development/education
opportunities. Update job knowledge by tracking and understanding
emerging construction practices and standards. Position is mixed
between field and office work. Job Qualifications: Associates
degree with 2 years of progressively responsible experience in
construction. Bachelors degree in construction management,
Engineering, or another related field with 1 years progressively
responsible construction experience; or any similar combination of
education and experience as listed above. Ability to read and
interpret construction drawings, mechanical drawings and
specifications High degree of interest in commercial construction
industry/projects. Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively
with cross-function team Leadership and problem-solving skills.
Should possess advanced computer skills and be proficient in
Microsoft Word, Outlook, Project, Excel, Adobe Acrobat. Microsoft
Power Point experience preferred but not required. Excellent verbal
and written communication skills. Strong organizational and
planning skills. Minimal travel within the company territory.
