purpose of this position is to provide support and leadership for
the development and management of projects and programs connected
to academic programs (e.g., degree programs or faculty research)
related to public health. Academic initiatives supported by this
position include the MPH Program, the NSU Public Health
Collaborative and ad hoc projects that support public health
education and scholarship. Core Responsibilities: Provide
coordination and support for programs or projects related to
academic initiatives Apply knowledge of best practices for the
support of academic initiatives Conduct program planning and
development Engage in program implementation aligned with
priorities, policies and procedures Provide training for staff and
other collaborators Contribute to evaluations and reporting
Contribute to policy development and analysis Perform research and
analysis on specific issues, as required Plan and implement special
projects or events KSA’s and or Competencies required to
successfully perform the work: Effective interpersonal and
communication skills Strong collaboration skills Ability to work in
fast paced environments Knowledge of best practices Demonstrated
knowledge of and proficiency with program management tools Strong
time management skills Demonstrated ability to effectively manage
stakeholders Experience in the development or coordination of
