Job Description:
A company is looking for a Hospital Coding Auditor.
Key Responsibilities:
Review hospital charges against medical record and documentation
for appropriate code assignments
Understand billing and coding requirements for government and
commercial payers
Abstract statistical data from patient records following facility
guidelines
Required Qualifications:
CPC, CCS, CPC-H (COC), CPMA, CIC, RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS-P
certification
Experience in hospital billing, charge audit, or revenue cycle
activities
Experience with multi-specialty coding preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of clinical processes and coding
Knowledge of CMS guidelines and reimbursement structures
preferred
