Description:About Us:We are a rapidly growing, innovative hospitality company reinventing the timeshare experience across discovery, booking, and stay. We seek a senior accountant to be a key contributor in shaping our finance organization as we integrate new resorts and expand our product lines. This position will report to the Accounting Manager. This is a unique opportunity for someone that is looking to be challenged and wants rapid growth. Essential Functions:Assist with the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including board reports and annual budgets for multiple entitiesUnderstand GL coding, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts, and close monthly booksMaintain general ledger, including recording of journal entriesPrepare various schedules/reconciliationsAccruals of payroll costs and other accruals as neededAssist with various accounts receivable invoicing and posting of paymentsIncludes process and reconciling inter-company transactionsAssist with preparation and filing of various tax forms with federal, state, and local government agenciesAssist with annual audits; gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual auditAid management in forecasting business review and other proforma reportingAssist with leveraging technology to drive efficiencyBenefits: 401kHealthDentalVacationPTORequirements:Qualifications & Experience:Self-starter with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environmentsAbility to be flexible and assess risk to make quick decisionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDetail oriented and highly organizedSkilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasksExcellent critical thinking skillsSolid understanding of GAAP and applicable regulationsAbility to analyze financial informationExcellent technical abilities with advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite - Excel, Word, etc.Must have ability to create and utilize excel spreadsheets, including but not limited to pivot tables and formula use with minimal instructionBachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related fieldAt least 3-5 years' experience in accountingExperience in the hospitality and/or travel industry, timeshare, or vacation rental experience a plusExperience with Sage Intacct and Bill.com a plusSalary will be based on the ideal candidate's experience and skillsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift 30 lbs., move, stand, walk, traverse, crouch/stoop, kneel, repetitive hand/wrist motion, reach, bend, see, recognize, distinguish, convey information and converse with staff and others with great consistency.
